ABOUT OUR FESTIVAL

The African Diaspora Dance & Drum Festival of Florida (A.D.D.D.F.F.), was born in 2010, as a world class annual international celebration of Dance, Music and Culture.

In 2016, with the help and blessings of the late Charles” Baba Chuck” Davis Delou Africa, Inc. proudly established the festival as “DanceAfrica Miami”. Miami became one of five cities recognized under the nationally acclaimed African festival network “DanceAfrica”. That same year Delou Africa, Inc. became a proud recipient of the Knight Arts Challenge. The foundation supported our efforts to increase Delou Africa’s festival audience.

DanceAfrica Miami expands the knowledge base of the community through a variety of program components for the entire family to enjoy. Our cultural engagement includes African dance, drum & music workshops, yoga, a concert extravaganza, a panel discussion, health screening, a global bazaar, and a free Children’s Village Zone that includes Movements & Rhythms of Africa, arts & crafts, and African Folktale.
